Your own name and anyone else’s name Historical Periods & Events. If you have World War 2 change it to World War II. Or Second World War. Countries, Languages & Nationalities Geographical place names Months, Days of the Week Brand names, people’s titles, place names, buildings and monuments, religious terms, organizations and companies.

11 Let’s Do This: Groups & Together
Yes i will go to the store for you! Do, you, want me to pick up some apple! Their at the store because she exclaimed i hate bananas and want apples. They went too the produce section. Their going to the deli section to. How many apples do you want. To please

12 Content and Development
Use transition words to help move your ideas from one word to another. Use your thesis to guide which order your body paragraphs go in. Ask yourself “Is this important information to know?” If the answer is yes, then keep it. If it is no, then delete it. Ask yourself who, what, where, when, why, how. As in, ask yourself one of the words about your paragraph, if you’re able to answer the question without reading, than add more.

13 Let’s Do This: Group & Together
Rewrite so it flows: I will go to the store to buy apples. I’m looking for apples that are green. Green apples are the best apples. I like apples. Green apples are good when they are a dark green color. If you are writing an essay about how to tell if apples are good or not, is the above information important? Come up with a least two questions (by using the question words) that you can ask to make the paragraph longer.

14 Exit Ticket Keep your notes for tomorrow.
Answer the following questions on your bellwork page. What is something that you need more clarification about when it comes to writing? How do you feel about essay writing? Turn in the bellwork page before you leave.
