7. Monitoring Organs: X-rays:
high-energy electromagnetic waves absorbed by bone (can also be used with metallic compound to examine internal organs)

8. CT Scan (“Cat Scan”):
many x-rays are taken to reconstruct a 3-D image

9. Nuclear Imaging:
radioactive dye is injected & travels to target organs to allow detailed image of its function

10. MRI:
Magnetic Resonance Imaging uses magnetic forces and radio waves to provide information (very useful for soft tissues)
