Please WAIT FOR INSTRUCTIONS to begin the next steps on the project. You will have plenty of time and I want to make sure you know what to do!  You can work on your BOHR DIAGRAMS and LEWIS STRUCTURES.

USE THE KEY so you know what color to do each element. Only color the small square in the upper L corner (not the whole card!) Color LIGHTLY (so you can still read the info!) 2nd 3rd Hint: Lay out all your cards BEFORE you glue them!

6 CLEAN UP Put your PERIODIC TABLE on the counter in the stack for your CLASS PERIOD. Put your INSTRUCTIONS SHEET in your FOLDER. Pack folders. Supplies back into basket. Clean up any mess on the floor.

Alkali Metals – Hydrogen has only one valence electron so it could be classified with the alkali metals. OR Halides – Hydrogen only needs one more valence electron to fill its outer shell so it could be classified with the halides.
