6 Think, Write and Share While listening to the discussions, each team member is to write 2-3 skills that they have acquired from their previous learnings or those that they feel are innate in them. Examples: Financial Management / Business Course: Investing Sense of Humor

7 Think, Write and Share 2. Write down 1 or 2 tools that you have learned to use or have mastered that can be used in teaching your given field to all types and kinds of learners. Examples: Excel / Google Spreadsheets Videos

21st Century learning means teaching just as you have done in the past centuries, but with way better tools. Today's teachers have a great advantage, they have powerful learning tools at their disposal that they didn't have before. 21st Century technology is an opportunity for students to acquire more knowledge.

Visual literacy is the ability to interpret, negotiate, and make meaning from information presented in the form of an image, extending the meaning of literacy, which commonly signifies interpretation of a written or printed text.

Information Literacy is defined as the ability to know when there is a need for information, to be able to identify, locate, evaluate, and effectively use that information for the issue or problem at hand.

Media Literacy is the ability to critically analyze the messages that inform, entertain and sell to us every day. It’s the ability to bring critical thinking skills to bear on all forms of media asking pertinent questions about what’s there and not. It’s the ability to question what lies behind media productions.

Scientific literacy is the knowledge and understanding of scientific concepts and processes required for personal decision making, participation in civic and cultural affairs, and economic productivity.

Economic literacy—the ability to use basic economic concepts to make decisions about earning, saving, spending, and sharing money—is a skill. As with reading and writing, a working knowledge of basic economic concepts is essential for future success.

Student-Centered Learning: This is not an ala carte approach, these must all be together. Learning is personalized Learning is competency based Learning happens anytime, anywhere. Students take ownership.

Choose the most common skills and tools in your list. Using those, teach the following concept to any chosen Educational Level (Kindergarten to Grade 12). Bear in mind that it should foster to Student-Centered Learning. Chose a topic from your field that can best illustrate the idea: 1 + 1 = 2

Discuss and fill out the form given to you. An example has been provided. Example: Grade: 12 Subject: Marketing Tools: FACEBOOK Teaching Strategy: (Think-Pair-Share) Students are to discuss the marketing strategies used to influence them to buy a certain product. They are come up with a new strategy based on what they have discussed and see how effective it would be in Facebook. YOU ARE GIVEN EXACTLY 5 MINUTES TO WORK ON IT.
