HOTEL MYRIAD The line that separates the myth
from the legend is the same as that which separates the dream from its fulfilment. After all the expectation surrounding its construction, the Myriad by SANA Hotels impresses with its uniqueness: a design that seduces by its stunning simplicity, its imposing scale, rising 140 meters into the sky, and a privileged riverfront location alongside the Tagus, where history and innovation converge.

ACCOMPANYING PERSONS’ PROGRAM
Sintra is a beautiful romantic village at the base of the Sintra Mountain Range, whose unique characteristics have made it a UNESCO World Heritage Site for the “Cultural Landscape of Sintra” – i.e., both the natural and built heritage of the village and mountain range are considered. In the nineteenth century, Sintra was the first focus of European Romantic architecture. The guided tour includes a visit to the National Palace of Sintra, the only example of medieval royal palaces in Portugal; an ex-líbris of the village; the beautiful landscape of the Park, followed by a drive to Cabo da Roca; the westernmost point of mainland Europe. The return to Lisbon and the hotel is made driving alongside the coast, passing through the towns of Cascais and Estoril.

SATURDAY AFTERNOON PROGRAM
Accompanied by an expert English-speaking guide, you will explore Lisbon, the City of Seven Hills, which lies on the banks of the Tagus River. At the top of the highest hill of Lisbon, you will visit the Castle of Saint George, from where you’ll enjoy an astonishing view of the city. You’ll also visit the old Moorish quarter of Alfama, where time has made few changes and where modern life marches on in the narrow cobbled streets and old, quaint houses. Lisbon is nowadays just the capital of Portugal, but it is one of the world’s oldest cities and was once the center of a huge empire that comprised half the planet! Many of the adventurous Portuguese explorers throughout history departed from the next area you will visit -- the district of Belem. Belem’s most famous features are the 16th-century Tower of Belem and the Jerónimos Monastery. You’ll also see Monument to the Discoveries, erected in 1960 to honor the 500th anniversary of the death of Henry the Navigator.
