6 v4.3 Changes Report Format - All reports are now in HTML format, and can be exported to html file. All reports are now saved in the database so reports do not have to be rerun, unless something has changed in the review. Finalized reviews will store the reports. Intake Tool – Revised air cleaner selection - The air cleaner selection screen has been revised to display a drop down box of Fleetguard air cleaners that match the air flow of selected engine. Exhaust Tool – Revised muffler selection - The muffler/silencer selection screen has been revised to display a drop down box of Nelson mufflers/silencers that match the exhaust flow of selected engine. Torsional Tool – sections optional - The Model and Free Response sections of the Torsional Tool are now automatically bypassed in a new review. Fuel Tool – fuel tank volume - The calculation for fuel tank volume has been corrected. Previously the load factor was not being taken into account and the tool was overestimating the required fuel tank volume.

7 v4.3 Changes, cont. Optional Sections – default to green - In a new design review, the Engine Options section is optional and will default to a green check mark. In a new installation review, the Engine Options, Non-Cummins supplied parts and General observations are optional and will default to a green check mark. Removing components - Advisor v4.3 gives you the ability to remove components from a model. This includes charge air coolers, radiators, fans and others. Previously you could only replace a chosen component with a new one. Database Analyzer - Additional features - “Delete Purged Tools and Reviews” removes deleted reviews from users’ database, allowing users to reduce the size of Advisor database. “Compact Database” can further reduce the size of your database. Other Miscellaneous Improvements/Fixes - Updated AEBs, performance curves, datasheets and installation drawings. Updated option graphics Improved Quick Start Guide Review examples updated

8 v4.3 Changes, cont. Checklists - Users can now type “Y” or “N” in the checklist response boxes. The fields will auto populate with Yes or No. Users can use arrow keys and letter keys to navigate through most of the checklist without using their mouse to click the drop down box on the right. This feature will NOT work for multi-select drop down boxes. Engine Options - Options chosen from the “Options” section will now print on the report Non Cummins Supplied Parts - Will now print on the Installation Review report Cooling Tool - The radiator data now prints correctly on the report Equipment Type & Characteristics – A new criticality parameter of High Duty Cycle has been added to the criticality list. This parameter will be marked as “Critical” if you have selected Front End Loader as your equipment type. For some engine families, special hardware has been released to meet the demanding front end loader duty cycle. This new parameter will guide you toward the correct rating for your front end loader application.

9 v4.3 Changes, cont. Engine Selection - Maximum acceptable power tolerance. Advisor should not display an issue if the user requests a power tolerance of +/- 5%. Cummins default value is 5%. Previously an erroneous warning message would sometimes be displayed. Engine Selection - For electronic engines. If the user requested high idle value does not match the high idle value for the chosen rating, no warning will be displayed. High idle is a customer adjustable value for electronic engines. Electrical Tool - The cranking circuit in new reviews will now work correctly when more than one battery is selected. Previously problems were seen if the user tried to make changes to their circuit if it contained more than one battery. If you have an existing (pre v4.3) review with an electrical tool that can not be completed, you will need to reselect your cranking circuit. DO NOT click on the Next button until you have reselected your circuit. Electronics Tool - A new observation section has been added to the Electronics Tool. 38 new FRs

86 Cummins Global Brand 9/18/2018 9:31:19 AM v5.1 Release Changes

87 Cummins Global Brand V5.1 Release Changes, cont. 9/18/2018 9:31:19 AM Allow "Other" AC air cleaners to be selected for Tier 4 engines When selecting an air cleaner for a non-Tier 4 engine, Advisor will display those air cleaners that are within the flow range of the engine selected. But this feature was disabled for Tier 4 engines because it is a requirement that only an AC option that is on the config be selected. But there has been an incident where a user wanted to select an air cleaner that had a flow that was 7 cfm less than the low end of the range. So, show the "Other" line at the bottom of the AC options for a Tier 4 engine, and when the user selects "Other", he will be able to look at and select any other air cleaner that is in Advisor. When user chooses a Tier4 engine from the Engine Select screen, the user will go to Intake Tool>Build Model>Air Cleaner. The Air Cleaner drop down value should include Other. When the user chooses Other the user will then be able to select any air cleaner in Advisor. When user selects a non-AC air cleaner for a Tier 4(i)/Stage IIIB (as determined by PID 1013) engine, display this Sev code 1 warning: "Tier 4(i) / Stage IIIB engines require the use of Cummins Filtration Direct Flow air cleaner. Please select an appropriate AC option air cleaner.”

88 v5.1 Release Changes, cont. Intake variable angle elbow calculation
Cummins Global Brand v5.1 Release Changes, cont. 9/18/2018 9:31:19 AM Intake variable angle elbow calculation  In the Intake System Tool>Build Model>Elbow on the Elbow angle drop down, add the value Other. When the user chooses other a new numerical free text field will appear to the right of Other where the user can enter their angle. . In the Other field, if the user enters angle of 0 or anything greater than 90 degrees, the user receives a pop up box stating "You must enter an angle greater than 0 and less than or equal to 90 degrees." Do not let the user continue past this screen unless the angle is greater than 0 and less than or equal to 90 degrees.   Get rid of the Notes on the screen as there is no need to approximate angles now that this tool will allow calculation for all angles that weren't available before.  Currently there are two equations being used now to calculate the restriction - one for 45 deg and one for 90 deg. There will be only one equation in the future, the screens section below. Use this for a 45, 90, and everything else from >0 to 90. The results of this equation will show up in the same place on the Build Intake System screen

89 v5.1 Release Changes, cont. No warnings for PIDs 10203 & 10204 (VNFIF)
Cummins Global Brand v5.1 Release Changes, cont. 9/18/2018 9:31:19 AM No warnings for PIDs & (VNFIF) Currently, Advisor checks if the drawdown from the Cooling Tool > Testing > Cooling System Components screen is less than the value of (PID 137 times the total coolant system volume). Screen shots of these two parameters attached below. We need to keep this logic for existing engines but for new engines where PID and are populated we need to modify the calculation. We need to check if the drawdown is"1% greater than amount not filled at initial fill". The warning for an engine where pids & are populated should be flagged when the warning attached below is given for those engines that don't have these two parameters.

90 v5.1 Release Changes, cont. Water pump inlet pressure
Create a severity code 2 warning if any of the water pump inlet pressure fields are greater than 2 in Hg (7 kPa). The warning should say "The measured water pump inlet pressure is usually less than 2 in Hg (7 kPa). Usually, a high value is caused by incorrect test setup. Please review the test procedure and verify your test setup." The screen shot below is from the Cooling Tool, Testing, Cooling System Components Test. Part-load data Updated the Tier 4(i) QSB6.7 and QSL9 part load information to be specific to each Fuel Rating. Technical Library Changes Revised Worksheets in Advisor Input Forms section to reflect Tier 4 additions and added checklist questions.

91 Cummins Global Brand v5.1 Release Changes, cont. 9/18/2018 9:31:19 AM Add electrical testing screen & questions & T4 Lockout Need to add a testing section to the Electronics tool. When the Testing section is opened the user should see a similar window to the screen shot below. Add a question: “Does your OEM use multiplexed lamps, switches or throttle?” Yes/No. - If Yes is chosen then display a new question: “Did the equipment pass all the tests specified in AEB27.127?” Yes/No - If No is chosen create a Sev 1 warning in the Evaluate Issues screen that says “All equipment using multiplexed lamps, switches, and throttle must pass the tests specified in AEB27.127” On the new Testing window created under the Electronics tool when the user clicks the View Test Procedures button the user should see the .pdf file attached below.

92 Cummins Global Brand v5.1 Release Changes, cont. 9/18/2018 9:31:19 AM Additional checklist questions from Keith Nolting's project Add a variety of checklist questions, and associated warnings and Severity codes. Add checklist questions for predicted LAT. Compare both the coolant Limiting Ambient Temperature (LAT) and the intake LAT created in Case1 to the "Design maximum ambient temperature for this machine" (Installation>environment screen). If the predicted LAT value does not meet the environment LAT values then create a severity code 1 warning. The warning should say "The predicted [intake/coolant] limiting ambient temperature value for this machine does not meet the [typical maximum ambient temperature/design maximum ambient temperature]." If it is an installation review check the predicted LAT values against the measured LAT values from the test screen. If the measured LAT is more than +/- 30% different than the predicted LAT create a Severity Code 3 warning that says "The predicted [coolant/intake] LAT values are more than 30% different than the measured LAT. Please double check your measured and predicted values.“ Update exhaust backpressure test procedures The test procedure has changed. It now includes a step to regenerate the DPF. We need to update the test procedure
