What is Performance Track?
U.S. EPA voluntary program that recognizes and rewards top environmental performers that go beyond compliance in pursuit of continuous improvement Launched in mid-2000, now has nearly 350 members (including defense facilities and NDIA member firms) Program Background

Entry Criteria for Performance Track
Operational Environmental Management System (EMS) in place History of sustained compliance Commitment to continuous environmental improvement 3-year goals for improved environmental performance Demonstrated commitment to public outreach Entry into Performance Track requires that a facility have an operational EMS in place, a history of sustained compliance, a commitment to continuous improvement in environmental performance, and a commitment to communicating these improvements to the public. Large facilities are required to identify 4 goals for environmental improvement over a 3-year period, while small facilities (<50 employees) are only required to select 2 goals. Program Background
