1. Differences are great!

2. Even though people are the same in some ways, people are different in lots of ways, too.

3. Getting from place to place,

4. and always on the go,

5. people have different ways of moving.

6. People dress differently...

7. all around the world...

8. in parts of our own country...

9. our towns...

10. and even in our schools!

11. People speak differently, some with their faces...

12. some with their eyes...

13. and some speak with their hands.

14. Others speak with their bodies.

15. Still others speak through music.

16. What are these guys saying?

17. People listen differently.

18. Some people listen with their ears with no help.

19. WHAT? I CAN'T HEAR YOU!

20. Some people need the help of devices like hearing aids...

21. or personal FM systems which amplify sounds.

22. Some people don't listen.

23. Some bunnies don't either.

24. Oh! I hear you loud and clear now!

25. People learn differently.

26. Some learn by doing.

27. Others like to read to learn.

28. And still others need to sit at a desk in a classroom to learn.

29. How is this person learning?

30. Some people need a quiet space.

31. Some people take a long time to grow.

32. Others grow very quickly.

33. Some people move slowly, taking their time, like a turtle.

34. Others move very fast, like a cheetah.

35. Either way, we all get to our destinations.

36. It is important to respect the differences between people.

37. That way, people can come together for a common goal...

38. and work together for the benefit of everyone.

39. So if you have a friend who is a little bit different, celebrate it with...

40. fun times...

41. laughter...

42. quiet times...

43. and cooperation.

44. No matter how we move...

45. or speak...

46. or look, we must all treat each other with respect.
