What is ELTIS? The European Local Transport Information Service (ELTIS) is Europe‘s number one web portal on urban transport and mobility It is an initiative of the European Commission's Directorate General for Energy and Transport 18 September 2018

ELTIS aims to: Provide information and support the exchange of experience in the field of urban and regional transport in Europe. 18 September 2018

At whom is ELTIS aimed? ELTIS is aimed at everyone involved in improving mobility, transport efficiency and safety as well as reducing the environmental impacts of transport. It is aimed at transport policy-makers and managers, transport operators and user groups in particular. 18 September 2018

A typical ELTIS case study describes an activity undertaken by a European city or region to improve its local transport system. 18 September 2018

Submission of a case study to ELTIS – submission procedure
Use the online submission tool to write a one page description in the structure provided. Insert a relevant picture and your contact details. It takes about one hour to complete this task and submit your contribution to the largest database of urban transport case studies in Europe. 18 September 2018

If you would like to announce an event or to submit news items of European interest please send your text to Raf Canters He will post the text on the website. 18 September 2018

Vote for the best case studies
Each ELTIS Newsletter contains a vote and win game. Six to ten new case studies are selected to vote for as “case study of the month”. Readers can play by using the on-line voting tool and can win prizes. 18 September 2018
