Director: John Ford John Ford was born on February 1, 1894, in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. He began a creative hot streak in the mid-1930s. He received his first Academy Award for directing in for the Irish drama The Informer. Four years later, he was nominated for the western Stagecoach. He made some of his classic films in late 1940s. During the later part of his career, Ford continued to create great Westerns. He died in California on August 31, 1973.

Starring: John Wayne John Wayne was born May 26, 1907, in Winterset, Iowa. He received his first leading film role in The Big Trail (1930). Working with John Ford, he got his next big break in in Stagecoach (1939). His career as an actor took another leap forward when he worked with director Howard Hawks in Red River(1948). Wayne won his first Academy Award in He died of cancer in 1979.

Claire Trevor (born Claire Wemlinger; March 8, 1910 – April 8, 2000) was an American actress. She appeared in over 60 films, winning the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Key Largo, and earning nominations for her roles in The High and the Mighty and Dead End. She also received top-billing in Stagecoach.

John Carradine was born in New York City on February 5, He made his screen debut in 1930 in Tol'able David. In 1935, he began a non-stop acting career. Though he turned in fine performances in numerous character roles throughout the 1930s and '40s, Carradine took on an increasing number of parts in cheap horror flicks, eventually appearing in more films of that genre than virtually any other actor. He died in Italy on November 27, 1988. David, Keith and Robert Carradine are all actors.
