The Conception of Soccer
Ball game was played by many Civilizations long before it became a formal sport. The Greek played a type of ball game that was referred to as episkyres whereas the Romans played a soccer game known as Harpastum. The soccer was more like modern rugby. China began playing ball game they referred to as tsu Chu which mainly involved kicking the ball towards a square goal. Japan and Persia developed a more soccer like game after China and the game later was established in North America. Greeks were the first people to play soccer. However, that type of soccer was commonly referred to as episkyres. On the other hand, the Romans had their type of soccer referred to as Harpastum. However, the Roman and Greek types of soccers were more of Rugby other than soccer. By 50 A.D Chinese had already begun playing Tsu Chu. Tsu Chu involved the kicking of the ball toward a square goal. Later, Japan and Persia developed a more soccer-like game. The games later were established in the North American region. In this form of a game, the Aztecs played the kicking of the game referred to as tlachtli.

English Origin of Soccer

FA has been detrimental to the advancement of soccer game through the introduction of soccer regulations which would help to enhance safety in the game. Soccer is currently considered a global product whose consumption rate is very high. Massive economic development in soccer industry across the world has been noticed since 1980s. Soccer players have been a common product in the commercialization of soccer with most of them being sold and bought from one club to another.
