If you have your book today, you earned a 4 in accountability. If you do not have your book, you have a zero in accountability until you show me your copy.

5 Quick Fixes (use your MLA example to help)
- Circle the header and box the heading. Are they correct? If not, write yourself a note to fix them. - Squnderline the title of your essay. Don’t have one? Write yourself a note to fix it - Box the date. Does it say October 12, 2016? If not, write yourself a note to fix it - Underline my name. Is it spelled correctly? - Circle the class name. Does it say English and your periods?

6 Quick Fixes (use your MLA example to help)
- Flip to the second page. Does it have a 2 in the header? Draw a smiley face if it does. If not, write yourself a note to fix it. - Is you essay spaced EXACTLY like the example? If so, give yourself a check at the END of the essay. If not, write yourself a note to fix it.

- Read through your essay VERY CAREFULLY asking yourself: - Does this make sense? - What am I arguing?

- Read through your essay VERY CAREFULLY asking yourself: - Is this a real word? (spelling) - Is this the correct word? (word choice)

- Login to your computer, open your draft and begin fixing the errors you identified.

10 Edits and Revisions Round 4
- Scroll down the bottom of your draft - Hit enter until you have a new page - Title it: Punctuation Practice - Hit enter again - Type: 1) - Type exactly what I say

- All punctuation of quotes is fixed (including evidence tags)

It hooks the reader so that they will be interested in reading more. 2. It introduces the topic to prepare the reader for what you will be discussing in your paper.
