A track star refers to a runner, an athlete.
A track star refers to a person who is skilled in any field and there is no connection whatsoever with sports.
Professional athletes play sports for a living.
Professional athletes are people with natural talent, stamina, and competitive drive.
They have excellent reflexes and coordination and are well disciplined when it comes to rigorous practice and training.

3. Education and Training
Start eating healthy
Run up to three miles everyday,(more if you are training for cross-country events)
Before running warm up
Gather data
Practice your hurdling if you want to be a hurdler
Keep in mind
Remember, high jump you can’t practice without the track equipment.
Improve your distance
Keep a daily sports journal and log-in all training sessions
Participate in running events outside of school
Congratulate yourself, because soon you’ll be ready for track
Taking the college route is a frequent path to success for standout track and filed athletes, even for many non-Americans

Track and field differs from most other sports because it is solely measured in meters and seconds.
Prior to the 2012 London summer Olympics, a number technological advancements were unveiled to improve the sport.
The new, starting blocks can detect more than just athlete’s movement, but the pressure applied to the blocks.

USATF recently announced a landmark 23-year deal with Nike reportedly worth $500 million, extending sponsorship of the governing body through 2040.
