Current Success As we begin to put our plan on paper, it’s important to note that CA has a lot to celebrate! The Government of Alberta’s APORI – developed in 1995 to track the performance of K-12 institutions – reveals CA: Maintains high satisfaction levels across the board Strong provincial achievement test and diploma results A high percentage of our students achieve Rutherford Scholarships A Zero drop out rate and one of the highest high school completion rates in Alberta – 17 percent higher than the provincial level

What We Heard Students at the Centre Open, Honest, Transparent Culture
Build From the Inside, Out Don’t Judge a Book By its Cover 10 minutes 15 Themes emerged from our November 10 Community Engagement meeting, in which we outlined where we want CA to be by 2021. While I’m going to ask that everyone spend 10 minutes reviewing the What We Heard 1.0 document in front of them, I wanted to note my own observations: Participants believe it critical that students remain at the centre of our decisions and operations. Together, we must look ahead, rather than behind, to build an open, honest, transparent culture. Across the entire school, CA has a lot of work to do internally to ensure we attain our vision for the future. Overwhelming call for upgrades to our facilities, but I challenge you that parents don’t judge us by our facility, rather what we do for their children.
