· Unexpected drop-offs · Rocks · Changing slope Be aware of slope changes when riding sideways on a slope. Watch for objects that could tip you over.

Ride with your weight forward Don’t change gears Use front brakes only

Weight Back where arms are fully extended (braced) Use a lower gear with very little throttle Use Back Brake only

Check oil Check fuel Brakes, cable & Fluid Tires – Pressure & Lugs Leaks Lights (if you may need them)

Towing and Load Considerations
Observe all weight limits Be sure tires are properly inflated Only place cargo on load racks Properly load cargo Rear cargo as far forward as possible Front cargo clear of the handlebars

Make sure all cargo is secured Balance cargo evenly on both sides Balance trailer cargo evenly front & back Allow extra room for starting, stopping and turning Avoid steep slopes especially side travel
