Unit Two: I CAN’s REASONING TARGETS: “What I can DO with what I KNOW…”
I can label the 6 levels on the Activity Pyramid and give one activity for each level. I can apply the FITT formula to the 6 levels on the Activity Pyramid. I can apply overload, progression, and specificity to strength and muscular endurance. I can calculate my target heart rate zone and determine the appropriate intensity level when I exercise. I can apply the steps of goal setting to my personal fitness plan.

Unit Two: I CAN’s SKILL TARGETS: “What I can DEMONSTRATE…”
I can demonstrate proper skills and technique for basic TurboKick movements. I can demonstrate proper intensity levels during an aerobic workout. I can measure my intensity using my heart rate as a guide and can determine if I am exercising in my THR zone.

Unit Two: I CAN’s PRODUCT TARGETS:
“What I can MAKE to SHOW my learning…” I can plan and carry out a monthly exercise log that incorporates physical activity from level 2 on the physical activity pyramid. I can re-create the physical activity pyramid by applying activities that I do or that I could do in my own fitness plan that following the F.I.T.T. formula.
