GENETICALLY MODIFIED ORGANISMS
“GMO’s” Genetic material (DNA) has been unnaturally altered. Genes are added to a plant’s DNA which produce proteins conferring beneficial traits, such as herbicide tolerance (Round Up Ready) or insect protection (Bt) to the crop. Eg. 30% chicken breasts Lot’s of propaganda out there!

Climate Change considered by many scientists to be the most serious threat facing the world today. Kyoto Protocol an international agreement to cut greenhouse gas emissions that cause climate change. Solutions: phasing out coal plants, expanding renewable energy sources and public transit; creating new efficiency standards for vehicles and buildings.
