Along with financial incentives like volume incentive discounts and freight allowances, the program provides marketing co-op funding corresponding with your level of commitment. With a confirmed signature service gold signup, distributors receive a Co-op allowance of 0.5% of previous year's net purchases of ABB qualifying category products. Please note that pre-paid freight excludes Jokab Safety fencing, product groups 50950, 50952, 50954, which all have freight prepaid and added unless distributors want to provide their carrier account. In order to qualify for the volume incentive discount, a distributor must buy at least 80% of last year’s purchases in each product line in order to receive a volume incentive rebate in that line. Signature Service 2016 sign-up process Planning meeting: Distributor and local sales rep Submit commit- ment form online After Gold sign-up complete, co-op balance available Track progress toward targets Submit co-op claims for reimbur- sement Year end review and VID payout received Review sales and set targets Sales rep submits online commitment form Distributor receives approval ABB District Sales Manager receives approval Final approval from corporate office Confirmation with copy of sign-up form sent to distributor After the planning meeting, you as the sales rep will submit the online commitment form. Sales reps log in: - Electrical division - Scroll to Signature Service section - Sign up The distributor manager listed on the form is the first point of approval. They will receive an with a link to approve their sign up. After this, the ABB district sales manger gets an saying that the customer has approved the sign up. Once the DSM approves, a final is sent to LaTasha Nathaniel in corporate and she has the final point of approval. After this, a confirmation is sent to the distributor with a copy of their signup elections. If they are a gold distributor, their 2016 co-op balance is released at this time. September 18, 2018
