9. 1: Shared Responsibility The Ministry of Education and services share responsibility for information collected in ELI. – The Ministry of Education is responsible for using the information for educational research, statistics, and monitoring purposes only. – The ECE service agrees to take responsibility for information sent through ELI.

10. 2: Accuracy & Access Service provider confirms that data is accurate. – Services will be able to review all information submitted to ELI through a web-based reporting portal. – Ministry to report on confirmed information only. 3: Clarity on what is required and why – Ministry will state information requirements clearly. – Services agree to meet stated requirements.

11. 4: Up-to-date Information – Services will submit information within the required timeframes. – Ministry will consult and provide warning of any change to timeframes. 5 : Ability to Correct Errors Information may need to be corrected, this is supported by the ELI system. – The Ministry will approach the service when an error is identified. – The service will correct agreed errors. – The service may correct errors at any time.
