8. Assignment
Access the following link and complete the “IT Interests Inventory”
Complete the “Web Technology Careers” study guide and prepare a report to present to the class during our next meeting on a Web technology career of interest to you.
Discuss the careers project. Have students access the “IT Interests Inventory” on the National Workforce Center for Emerging Technologies. The students can use this inventory to guide them in choosing a Web technologies career for their report. Distribute the “Web Technology Careers” worksheet (File S.8.9_10.WS_Careers) and the accompanying rubric “Web Technology Careers Report” (File T.8.9_10.R_Careers). Discuss teacher expectations for the worksheet and the expectations for the presentation. Discuss the form of the presentation to be presented at the next class meeting.
