FGSR Banner Workflow Demo

Introduction New project to automate graduate student requests using Banner Workflow. Objective: to electronically share documents between FGSR and the faculties/departments/units involved and to automate the flow of reviews and approvals for various processes as well as to send automatic notifications where applicable. Phase I of the project: Requests to Transfer; Program Extension; Voluntary Withdrawal; Leave of Absence; Program Changes and Progress Reports.

FGSR Staff FGSR Staff have a few steps upon receiving a students request: Banner Updates Select a Letter Template Proof the Letter Template and Complete the Workflow

Upon completion of the workflow and e-mail will be sent to the student
Upon completion of the workflow and will be sent to the student. They can then log in to Self Service and view the status of their request and a letter pertaining to their request. 20
