2. What does the respiratory system do?
Lets look at single cell organisms
What process occurs when something want to enter the cell?
Why can this happen?

3. Why can diffusion not work in multicelllar organisms?
Too many cells and air is not in contact with all the cells
Therefor our bodies must bring oxygen to all cells in our body and release a product of cellular respiration (carbon dioxide)

4. Definition/Function
the Respiratory system is responsible for bringing air/oxygen into the body and removing carbon dioxide.
It accomplishes these feats by using a series of organs

5. Lets Break down the System
I need a Volunteer, preferable a healthy one!

6. Organs Nasal cavity - lined with mucus and hair
Epiglottis - covers the trachea
Trachea - build like a vacuum cleaner hose

Alveoli - air sacs
Lungs - big sacs that contain many organelles
Diaphragm - breathing muscle
Pleural Membrane
