Writers use them as cautionary tales , in which human kind is put into a society that may look inviting on the surface , but in reality is a nightmare.

5. What are the effects of the dystopian novels ?
The effects of this is that the parents of the children reading these books don't like it because of the dark and violence nature of dystopian novel..this connects with the hunger games because in the hunger games they  to have to kill each other so they can survive and that is sending out the wrong msg to teens....dystopian novels may be a reason for so many killings these days.
