One of the first handheld POS solutions
So I want to take a moment here to stress that mobility remains an important part of the development roadmap for RMPOS. The v20 features we’ll be demo-ing here today will cover only the development we’ve been doing on the core POS modules. But thanks to resellers like Chimera Solutions and Teletec, we’ve also started a list of planned enhancements to the RM Handheld application that will work with Restaurant Manager version 20. We are referring to this development work as “Phase II” of version 20.
I know many of you are looking forward to tomorrow’s presentations on Duet which, of course, offers a completely re-architected cloud-based solutions for tablet computers. But for quite some time Duet will remain a complementary product that targets key sub-sections of the broader restaurant market.
If you want to remain successful in today’s marketplace you still must incorporate mobility in your pitch on the benefits of Restaurant Manager version 20.
