Kant’s theory is based on a few things (foundation blocks); reason (practical), freedom and duty.
Socratic Dialogue – group discussion, consider following questions
1 – Is rationality a good foundation for an ethical theory?
2 – Are we free to decide what is right and wrong??
3 – Do we have a duty to do anything? If so, where does that duty come from? Discuss some possible duties

What would Kant think about making a moral decision based on love and sympathy?
Do you think that a moral/ethical theory should be devoid of these?
