Holidays + traditions only celebrated in the U.S.A.
Thanksgiving is the fourth Thursday in November. This holiday is celebrated because back in 1621 the Indians taught the pilgrims how to plant corn and other crops. The pilgrims gave thanks to the Indians by holding a feast. That became a tradition in America. Now these days, we celebrate Thanksgiving with food like turkey, corn, pumpkin pie, potatoes, cranberry sauce, and many more. Thanksgiving is a day to give thanks to family and friends and all the good things we have.
