Examples of formal commands:
They MEAN: go! study! leave! give me! relax! put! don’t go away don’t give me vaya estudie salga déme relájese ponga no se vaya no me dé

You may notice a few things about formal commands…
They are formed exactly like present tense (yo – drop o – add opposite ending) Object pronouns and reflexive pronouns are attached when they’re affirmative and NOT when negative.

Note of use Formal commands are much more common than informal, or “tú” commands because they are more polite. Informal commands can come across very bossy or rude They are also easier to form because they’re the same affirmative and negative!

One more note… Formal commands can be used to address a single person OR several people of which the “commander” is part or not. Examples: Coman. Comamos Coma (You all) eat! Let’s eat! (You) eat!
