2 First Person Point of View
Narrator is a character in the story Uses the pronouns I, we , us, our See everything that happens through the narrator’s eyes. Know only what this character knows

3 1st Person Point of View I turned back to my bucket and sponge, and I could feel the tears burning in my eyes. I wanted so much to go to the ball, but my stepsisters would not hear of it. When they left the chamber, slamming the door as they went, I knew there was no point in crying anymore. I could only go back to scrubbing the floor.

4 Third Person Point of View

“Your flowers are so pretty,” Betty said, faking a smile. A real rose garden would have a wide variety of colors, she thought. Amateur. ‘Thanks. I only planted yellow. It was Morty’s favorite color.” “You poor dear. You must miss him.” “Oh yes,” Lois forced a tear, laughing inside. Hours and hours of tending to a garden. Roses never bloomed in this soil until her missing husband became fertilizer.

Hurt and disappointed, Cinderella turned back to her bucket and sponge. The thought of missing the ball brought tears to her eyes. Cinderella jumped when the door slammed behind her. Then she straightened her back and resumed scrubbing, knowing that her stepsisters were on their way to the ball.

9 3rd Objective Point of View
only reports the actions of the characters in the story Narrator gives an eyewitness account and tells only what can be seen or heard

Jennifer stirred in bed. The thin white cotton sheet clung intimately to her body as she rolled to face the nightstand. With eyes half open, she reached over to switch the alarm clock off when the man in the shadows reached out and grabbed her arm. Her scream pierced the quiet night and died abruptly as she was forced violently back into the dark oblivion.
