Point of View: The perspective from which a story is told.

First-Person Point of View:
The narrator is a character in the story. The narrator refers to himself or herself as I or me (pronoun clues). A first-person narrator is limited since he or she can only present his or her own thoughts and feelings.

Third Person Point of View:
The narrator is not a character in the story. Pronoun Clues: he, she, they, their The narrator is limited if he or she focuses on the thoughts and feelings of one character.

Revealing a character indirectly is called characterization.
