United Streaming Multimedia Content for Classroom Instruction

2 Getting Started Go to : http://gpb.unitedstreaming.com
Log in with your previously created User Name and Password. If you don’t have a Username and Password, sign in with Winterville’s passcode, EEE8-AC78, and then register

3 Search for Videos by Topic
Type a curriculum topic in the SEARCH box. Leave “All Content” to see support materials such as lesson plans, worksheets, and quizzes.

4 Find Materials by Grade
Click your grade level in the Narrow My Results  By Grade menu ( left side of page) You should now see only those items that are appropriate for your grade level

5 Each available video contains a description and a list of other resources
This video has a comprehensive teacher’s guide, complete with hands-on activities and assessments

6 Find Materials by Standard
In the Curriculum Standards Search menu, select Georgia, your subject, and grade level.

7 Videos by Standard Click the link to videos meeting this standard to see available resources.

8 Download a Video Click either the Full Video graphic or the video title to open the download screen

9 What do you need? Click the tab
Did your students include this video in their project? Here’s where they can copy the citation Click the tab Download just those parts of the video that apply to your lesson Download full video to your computer Or just play (stream) the video Find lesson plans, quizzes, and other materials that go with this video

10 Choose Your Settings Want your kids to read along with the narration?
Windows Media files work best on our Dell laptops This is important if you are streaming – the video will play in Windows Media Player if you download

11 Downloading Video Avoid jerky video and possible access problems – download instead of streaming for class viewing! Click the TV icon next to the story segment

12 Save Your Video Click Save
Make changes in the “Save as” window if necessary (be sure you click on the correct desktop if you want to download there) Wait for the video to download

13 Showing the Video Video should automatically open in Windows Media Player Right click on the screen and select Full Screen for a bigger picture
