A digital footprint can affect your life greatly, or/and negatively
A digital footprint can affect your life greatly, or/and negatively. Imagine making a Facebook account, to be connected to people at school and family members.
4
For information about yourself you added positive things, like what school you go to, where you work, but you also post pictures from parties, thinking no one but your friends will see.
5
Imagine your dream college is about to accept your application, but are searching you up and see these type of pictures.
6
Now because of the mistakes you have posted on your Facebook you can't go to your dream college. This is not the only case that can happen with a bad digital footprint.
7
Another scenario is that you get older and apply for a job, sadly you get rejected for your digital footprint as a teenager.
8
How can you keep an appropriate and safe digital footprint?
9
Will this affect my life positively or negatively?
Strategy one: Think Before You Post. If you think before you post it will make a better digital footprint. If you think that a post either shares too much information, or can cause a fight it probably will. If you think the complete opposite about a post, then tweet/Instagram/Facebook it. Will this affect my life positively or negatively?

It is important to make your account(s) on private for many reasons
It is important to make your account(s) on private for many reasons. Putting your account on private is useful when it comes to not wanting strangers to look at your posts. Putting your account on private is also useful because it makes the chance of pictures of you on google when you search up your name less likely. Strategy two: Use the privacy settings
11
A reason why you should google yourself frequently is to see what is on about you. When you know what Google knows about you, it's scary which makes you aware on what you should change. Strategy three: Google yourself frequently.

Some info I learned and would tell other people about..
13
Information about digital footprint.
Information that I learned and would share to other students is that a digital footprint will follow you everywhere. It starts from when you were a little baby, to the day you die. A digital footprint isn't something you can just not have, everyone has a digital footprint.
