3 Building on Success! After last year’s STEM Club Conference, we had over 70 STEM Clubs start up across the state. The clubs focused on Arts Integration into STEM, Astronomy, Aviation, Conservation, Energy, Engineering, General STEM Topics and Robotics. The Clubs ranged from Pre-K through high school. The Clubs varied in focus, activities, duration and outreach options. Our GOAL is to build on this success by doubling the amount of clubs available for How can we do this??

7 SFAz Seed Funding for this Year
Available Funding: Between $400-$600 for seed funding through SFAz (exact amount to be determined after all commitment forms submitted) Requirements to Qualify: Launch a STEM Club by September 15, 2014 Recruit a minimum of 5 club members Meet at least twice per month Participate in online STEM Club Network (register your club prior to Sept 15, 2014) Participate in SFAz’s STEM Club surveys twice per year Acknowledge SFAz’s support of your STEM Club on your school’s website Sign the Commitment Letter: Must be signed and returned by June 13 , 2014 Use of Funds: MUST be used for supplies, stiepnds, oe expenses related to STEM Clubs Payment/Reimbursement of Funds: (paid to schools) Submit Commitment Letter by June 13, 2014 (acknowledgement will be sent) Funds will be electroniclly transferred to directly to the school Funds must be designated and ussed for STEM Club expenses during school year Sample:
