GROW Saturday Workshops
How it works Attended by middle school participants, usually all female Participants are split into groups, around students per group Groups rotate through a variety of activity sessions throughout the day K-State faculty & Students design and facilitate activities for the participants What should an activity look like? Related to the theme of the event Hands-on, appropriate for age group 45-50 minutes in length

GROW & EXCITE Summer Workshops
Takes place in June, 3 days, Wednesday – Friday Participants attend activities in groups of students, by age GROW – middle school EXCITE – high school Faculty & student led activities take place during business hours No set theme, purpose is to expose students to a variety of STEM careers and disciplines Activity Sessions can be 1-3 hours in length, and can be split into multiple sessions We provide small budget for activity supplies

SUCCEED “Women in STEM” events
Evening social events for undergraduate and graduate student Can add academic or professional development component Tailored to fit your interests or area of expertise
