Native Animal Eastern Chipmunk
Small striped, reddish brown, white belly Adapt to a variety of habitats Found in areas with at least few mature trees Burrow under old stone walls, near buildings Burrow under ground and form tunnels, where they store seeds and food. Seeds that are forgotten, bloom into plants.
7
Native Plant By law, our city will force each resident to own an indoor garden. They are required to grow tomato plants to live more sustainably. The native plant that grows in our community is the Red Maple. It provides shelter for chipmunks Reproduces by the seeds that are stored and forgotten by the chipmunks

Acquiring energy, food, and water
Before the storm comes, our city puts up wind mills. The wind from the natural disaster spins the turbines and creates energy. With our city in ruins, we make solar panels that absorb the sun’s energy. Import food from across the nation Create a water purifier that takes away all the chemicals
10
Get rid of the waste The water purifier’s chemicals eat away at the waste and creates no by-products that effect the air quality for humans to breathe.
11
Where people live and work
The five boroughs are spilt up People work in Manhattan Live in Brooklyn and Queens Entertainment is in Staten Island and the Bronx
12
Transportation Our city implants an underground transport system. The tunnels go under water and as you ride the train you watch fish swim by To get to your workplace, an eco-friendly bus transports each passenger. The bus fare is a plastic bottle which is then turned into fuel for the buses.
13
Area for Wildlife Central Park is still designated as a wildlife area.
Each resident in Brooklyn and Queens is required to have an indoor garden or a rooftop garden.
