1 27 January 2015 Do Now: Write a min of 2 lines: What do you think would have happened to the country if the U.S. Constitution wasn’t ratified (approved)? Today, I will be able to identify and explain main ideas presented by the Federalists and Antifederalists regarding ratification. If you haven’t done so, turn in 7.4; turn in tomorrow for partial credit. Retake: Federalism and Separation of Powers Quiz (You must have 7.4 done in order to retake this quiz, which will be averaged).

Federalist approved of the Constitution as it was constructed in Philadelphia; thought that a decentralized government couldn’t and didn’t work; see the A.O.C. 6 Writing Prompt Prompt: You have been attending the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia PA during the summer of While attending the convention you became an influential member and authority of the strengths and weaknesses of the Constitution. At the conclusion of the convention it was decided that the Constitution had to pass through the state ratification process.
