The children worked with Dr. Parker to carve a pumpkin into an amazing jack-o-lantern! They also used the mini pumpkins with their 3rd grade buddies and decorated their own jack-o-lanterns to bring home. This week we also started writing in our kindergarten journals! We learned how to write the date and a simple sentence. Then the children drew pictures to match their sentence. They did a wonderful job! Next week we will celebrate Halloween on Tuesday. Please be sure to read the Halloween letter attached to this newsletter for information regarding our morning parade. Remember, no face masks with costumes please.
