Hello class. Today I will try to persuade you and explain why BTS is the best.

3. Attention Getter
I like to think that music is something everyone can enjoy. It can connect to our fondest memories, and help them resurface as we listen. I also think that music is universal, you can feel the music and understand what it means, even if you aren’t quite able to understand the lyrics.

4. Background
BTS is a 7 member boy group from South Korea That debuted in 2013 under bighit entertainment.
They have multiple names such as: BTs, Bangtan Sonyeondan, Bangtan boys, bulletproof boy scouts, and more recently, beyond the scene.
The fanbase’s name is a.r.m.y., which stands for adorable representative mC of youth.
They have a number of different albums such as Dark & Wild, wings, and their newest, love yourself: her.

Jin (Kim seokjin)
Suga (min yoongi)
j-hope (Jung hoseok)
V (Kim taehyung)
Jimin (Park Jimin)
Jungkook (Jeon jungkook)

6. Member roles
RM is the leader and main rapper of BTS. He also is fluent in English and has an iQ of 148. He is 23.
Jin Is a vocalist and a visual. He is 25.
Suga Is a lead rapper and composes most of the group’s music along with RM. He is 24.
J-hope is Also a lead rapper, main dancer, and choreographs their dances. He is 23.
V Is a vocalist and the 2nd visual. He is 22.
Jimin is the lead vocalist and Main dancer. He is 22.
Jungkook is the lead dancer, center, main vocalist, sub rapper and the maknae (youngest). He is 20.

7. Opinion staTement
In my opinion, I think that BTS are better than some American artists, not by just musical standards, but aesthetics, choreography, and personal image.
These are the things I’ll be talking about and I hope that you’ll listen well.

8. Aesthetics
A lot of American artists make music videos that show people partying hard, or even just random things. Some actually connect to the lyrics and what’s trying to be conveyed.
BTS is known for their use of aesthetics to enhance their videos.
This is so true, since each album has a specific concept And ARMY creates theories for every single nd.
I would say that wings had the most aesthetic appeal, especially blood sweat & tears.

10. Choreography BTS takes a lot of time to practice and they work hard.
They put a lot of care into their dancing, and work up to 12 hours a day on it.
They choreograph their dances Mostly themselves, with j-hope leading practices.
The best videos that display their skills are dope, DNA, and wings intro: boy meets evil, which is only j- hope.

12. Personal image
BTS show numerous times on various shows, interviews, and on their v live channel, they have fun.
I never seem to find any images or videos of them being rude, or getting caught up in bad situations, like most American artists.
I suppose that this is because of how they are managed, as I have seen articles with scandals of other K-pop idols.
Beside that, Bangtan treats each other like family, like brothers.
They tease each other, have fun with each other, and are around each other 24/7 since they live together.
The best way to see this is to watch the episodes of American hustle life which featured them back in 2014, when they were learning more about hip hop.

13. BTS being bts
Just because their music doesn’t focus on the same qualities American music usually does, doesn’t mean that they don’t admire it.
A lot of the members are inspired by American artists and love their music.
BTS has become increasingly popular in america recently, and even Won an award at the bbma’s.
They’re also set to peform on Jimmy Kimmel (11/15), at the ama’s (11/19), and are confirmed to be on ellen.
They’ve also joined with UNICEF for the love yourself campaign to stop youth violence.

I think that BTS are better than some American artists because of their attention to aesthetics, choreography, and personal image.
