2. Coming of Beowulf
Heard how Grendel filled nights with horror, and quickly commanded a boat fitted out, Proclaiming that he’d go to that famous king.

3. Grendel’s first attack
Then darkness fell, Grendel went up to Herot.

4. Grendel Comes Hoping to Kill.
He moved quickly through the cloudy night, sliding silently towards that gold-shining hall.

5. Grendal VS Beowulf
Then stepped to another still body, clutched at Beowulf with his claws.

6. Beowulf’s attempt to kill Grendel
Their courage was great but all wasted because they couldn’t harm grendel.

7. The Death of Grendel
Snapping, muscle and body split and broke.

8. Beowulf’s Victory
Beowulf hung Grendel’s arm high upon the rafters for the towns people to see.

9. Town’s People Victory
Beowulf ended the grief, the suffering, and the sorrow of the towns people.
