1 New Hire Enhancement - Quick Hire
A New Hire enhancement called Quick Hire can be used to add an employee to the payroll by entering the minimum required information. To access Quick Hire, select Process > HR > Hire/ReHire

The updated Hire/ReHire screen displays. The work location choices are Canada, which is the default International does not apply for Quick Hire

Available templates display as tiles below; this is the Default template view

You can also sort templates by: Last Updated, Last Used, Name (of template) Or, You can type a template name in the Find field to locate it. Select the Quick Hire template to begin the process 1 2 3 Add numbered circles.

The QuickHire screen displays. It is divided into 3 sections: Personal Information Employee, Payroll & Tax Employee Activity Personal Information includes a reminder to indicate whether the new hire is a tobacco user All mandatory fields are indicated by a red asterisk Cancel and Done buttons are located at the bottom right 1 2 Add circled numbers to screenshot. Fill in Personal Information for the new hire The information entered here will appear in Personal Profile when Quick Hire has been completed Add circled numbers to screenshot.

Fill in Employment, Payroll and Tax information The fields shown here may vary, depending on the WFN products purchased - for example, Benefit Eligibility Class displays here because the client has purchased a benefits package Add circled numbers to screenshot.

To add an Employee Activity, click on the Off toggle to switch it to On Select a template from the dropdown and fill in. Add arrows to screenshot. If no activity is required, click on Done.

9 New Hire Enhancement - Quick Hire
The new employee has been added and you are returned to the Hire/ReHire home screen where a confirmation message briefly displays. It also reminds you to add other important information: Hughes, Martha Success! Hughes, Martha can now be paid. Don’t forget to enter important info like deductions, direct deposits, and tax withholdings. Add text box: the message also reminds you to add other important information.

You can review the information you just entered by clicking on the new hire’s name in New Hire History: Hughes, Martha Add arrows to screenshot.

You will see a list of the steps you completed and can review the information by scrolling down on the Hire Data tab: Add arrows to screenshot.

13 New Hire Enhancement - Quick Hire + Time
If your company uses ADP Workforce Now Time & Attendance, you can add the new hire using Quick Hire + Time.

14 New Hire Enhancement - Quick Hire + Time
The Quick Hire + Time template is divided into the same three sections as Quick Hire plus a Time & Attendance section: Add rounded square around Time & Atten.

15 New Hire Enhancement - Quick Hire + Time
For Time & Attendance, select and/or add information for: Pay Class Badge Number Time Zone Click on the check box to use this time and attendance data to pay employee: 1 2 3 Add numbered circles to screenshot and rounded square for check box info.

Important things to know about Quick Hire and Quick Hire + Time: Only the minimum information required for the payroll to run is captured It can only be used for paid employees It must be completed in one step If you click Done and a mistake has been made, a pop-up window will appear directing you to make a correction.
