Sometimes you can try substitution if you are unsure of the word you are trying to figure out.
“Well, I don’t know what ‘heinous’ means, but I know a crime is not a good thing and you can say “the crime was exceedingly bad” and bad would be an adjective here, since it’s describing the crime so I think heinous would be too.”

Ask yourself what subject does this very belong to? Is it the only verb belonging to this subject?
Nouns:
“The, a, an” all signal that a noun will follow. However, it may not follow immediately.
Ex: The hyper, rambunctious students were so excited for Jeopardy.

10. Jeopardy Rules Don’t have to say “what is” before responses
First person to get fly swatter on “buzzer” gets to answer first
One “phone a friend” lifeline per group; cannot be used for final Jeopardy
If you get an answer wrong, you lose that number of points

Final Jeopardy: If you are negative or have 0, you can bet up to what the other team has
