Business Simulation Team-based exercise that allows the participants to run their virtual businesses over multiple rounds while competing against the other teams in the same market. The objective is to engage participants into a real-like business decision-making experience. Typically teams start with similar resources to enable “fair” competition.

Dilemma Learning is too prescribed – great script but no spontaneity
- Must include elements of play on the other hand.. Simulation becomes ”just a game” and participants do not put in a real cognitive effort - Proper structure is needed Grading goes wrong - Simulation results should not have too much weight on the student grade - Performance, compared with the results of other users and competitors, does not necessarily imply learning - Sometimes students who do badly can learn the most
