Late Start Wednesdays

Every Wednesday, 2/3 of our teachers are assigned to either “flex” or “student contact” time, so help is available 2-3 Wednesdays each month…. It helps to “schedule” time with your teacher in advance.

Every year our Math Dept
Every year our Math Dept. creates a list of students who are willing to tutor other students “privately”. Many will help with subjects other than math!

Every Monday-Thursday (almost), students can come to the library for peer tutoring from 2:30-3:45pm…

Summer Job Training Program Taking applications now –find in Counseling Center (DUE 4/23!) Earn $1,050 working on the Muirhead Farm (7/5-8/17; Mon.-Thur.) Grow produce for Olympia School District and community Earn 1.0 Science credit School-year Program Continuation of summer job training (MIGHT be able to join in fall) 4-periods (4th-7th) working at farm (get passes to ride city bus home) Earn 2.0 Science, 1.0 American Studies, 1.0 CTE credits Skill building and support/intervention strategies: Hands-on approach to learning Focus on community service and hunger relief efforts Leadership Relationship building skills & working together Accountability in a group setting Questions? Learning Opportunity Center

Students take on-line classes for credit retrieval in one of our labs, with a teacher there to facilitate their process through the class, and possibly help… Counselors help get students enrolled in appropriate class(es)
