Learning Targets: I can explain and describe how line graphs (quantitative data) can be used to defend my conclusion (answer). Today’s Class I can explain and describe how research (qualitative data) can be used to defend my answer (conclusion).

G R A S P Goal: Create a presentation using research and line graph to defend your conclusion. Role: Your group is pat of a talent agency that will draft a future NBA player. You will need to justify why you would spend millions of dollar on that one player. Audience: Lakers General Manager and the Lakers Board of Trustees Standard: I can defend my conclusion with data (research and line graphs). Product: Presentation that includes three data tables, 3 line graphs, and an oral presentation. (Powerpoint and any other visuals are highly encouraged.)

Today Determine which stats are most important. You need to pick three. You can always change it later. Determine who is doing which graph and the data table. Groups of 3 will have to figure out who does the data table too Don’t forget TAILS when you are doing your graphs. If you need to, you may use your phones for research.
