District Allotment: 1.5(FTE) School contributes: $112,000 3 FTE VAPA teachers 549 students Demographics 70% ELL 100% Title I 96% Latino Arts Partners Community Opus Project SD Opera La Jolla Playhouse Student get VAPA classes every week for 2 hours from August to May VAPA classes are an extra dose of Language, Speaking and Listening standards through Arts Integration VAPA teachers are resources to classroom teachers and provide push in support specifically for VAPA integration

Kellogg Elementary Principal: Sylvia Echeverria
District Allotment: 1(FTE) School contributes: $23,400 3 Shared VAPA teachers 335 students Demographics 35% ELL 71.3% Title I 20.8% Students with Disabilities Arts Partners Community Opus Project Collaboration: Teachers and Artists (CoTA) Student receive VAPA classes every week in Music, Visual Art, and Dance Classroom teachers receive 10 weeks of PD with a CoTA teaching artist on integrating the arts into core content

Montgomery Elementary Principal: Monica Ruiz
District Allotment: 1(FTE) School contributes: $30,000 for Arts Integration & $3,000 for instrument upkeep 2 Shared VAPA teachers 340 students Demographics 75% ELL 100% Title I 95% Hispanic/Latino Arts Partners Community Opus Project La Jolla Playhouse Student receive VAPA classes every week in Music and Visual Art La Jolla Playhouse is working with Montgomery Elementary School - only school in Chula Vista- planning and co-teaching with all grade levels focusing on speaking and listening standards while students are integrating content with theatre arts. Q1- Grades 4-6 , Q2- Grades 1-3, Q3- Grades TK/K/SDC (Upper & Primary)

Palomar Elementary Principal: David Munoz
District Allotment: 1(FTE) School contributes: $23,400 2 Shared VAPA teachers 383 students Demographics 96% ADA 4 foster students Additional funding for the music, dance, and art programs at Palomar are included in the calculations used to fund all other general education classrooms. Classroom supplies, materials, and professional development costs are funded using a combination of site funds, PTA fundraising monies, LCAP budgets, and Title I resources.
