Naviance Components for MTHS
Career Planner Students can link personality type and interests with both career clusters and individual careers. College Planner Students can track every step in the college process, research colleges, enrichment programs and scholarships. Learning Style Inventory Allows the student to find out more about how they learn.

Career Planner Students explore potential careers from both a personality and interest viewpoint. Helps students understand the academic preparation required to ensure workplace readiness. Offers career descriptions, preparation, requirements, and wage information at the city, state and national level for over 1000 careers! More than 600 of the careers have videos associated with them. Many offered in both English and Spanish. Valuable reporting tools that give counselors comprehensive information when planning career days.

College Planner Students have easy access to post-secondary planning.
Comprehensive information about colleges. Conduct college searches and find appropriate matches. Students will be able to search for scholarships, view deadlines, and find scholarship application materials. Counselors can track applications, teacher recommendations, record transcript requests, track student completions, survey students on multiple issues. Counselors will have the ability to send transcripts and other reporting data electronically to over 1000 colleges. Students will become engaged in the process of planning and preparation for post-secondary options.

Learning Style Inventory
Students complete a question based assessment that will give a detailed description how they learn best. Students can share this information with counselors, teachers, parents, etc. in an effort to create the most successful learning environment.

Accessing naviance Link to log on to Naviance/Family Connection is available on the MTHS website’s homepage All MTHS students have been registered with Naviance starting in 9th grade Parents can contact child’s counselor to register a parent account
