DISTRACTION DAYDREAMING DIFFICULTY CONCENTRATING UNABLE TO COMPLETE ASSIGNMENTS DIFFICULTY PROCESSING INFORMATION STRUGGLE WITH INSTRUCTIONS.

5 Children who are inattentive say:
"Any sound in class bothers me" "My mind sometimes goes on a road trip" "It's like I have ten TV channels in my head and I don't know which one to watch."

6 Symptoms of HYPERACTIVITY include:
FIDGET AND SQUIRM TALKATIVE CONSTANTLY IN MOTION DIFFICULTY WITH QUIET ACTIVITIES

12 A Final Note As we can see ADHD is challenging, but as teachers we can help children modify problem behaviors, succeed in school, and get along with others. We can work with parents to make sure their child is getting the appropriate help in school.
