We would like to let you know that our senior outreach horse, Rockett, was put to rest this month. She will be missed by many.
Hope Reins of South Dakota is a nonprofit outreach program. Our mission is to provide structured equine activities for disadvantaged youth and families. We utilize horses and volunteers to accomplish this in various one-on-one settings. By displaying love through mentoring relationships, we believe people will acquire healing from the past and hope for the future. While providing the opportunity to participate in safe, nurturing horsemanship experiences. Hope Reins serves as a place of refuge and offers people a sense of belonging.

2. Gearing Up for Summer REMINDER!!
My son, Zane, struggles with anger as a result of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and also mild ADHD. Hope Reins has been a blessing to us! When Zane spends time with the horses and staff he learns to slow down, to think things through and to BREATHE. His experience there has taught him to take pride in a job well done. He loves the horses and working with them has given him confidence. Thank You Hope Reins!
