Look inside the back cover. This is a glossary. It tells you the meanings of some of the words in the book.
Pg. 2-3: How do dolphins breathe? They breathe through a hole called a blowhole. Clap and say blowhole.
Pg. 4-5: What do dolphins use to swim? They use their flippers and their fins. Find flippers. Run your finger under it and say it.
Pg. 6-7: What do the labels on the pictures tell you? A group of dolphins is a pod, and a baby dolphin is a calf.
Pg : Why does it say, “Good job, dolphins!”?
Pg. 16: Why do you think these facts are called “Fun Facts”?
Turn to the beginning and read to find out more about dolphins.
