The election of 1800 Hamilton campaigns hard for Jefferson because he hated Burr Jefferson wins on 36th ballot Adams doesn’t even stay for inaugural – so upset. Revolution of 1800 – for the first time in US history it was a peaceful transfer of power (bloodless) –Federalists to Democratic-Republicans 12th Amendment begins its process.
