Highlights of 2016 –Class 1 VPI

2017 PD Team Focus Continue to prioritize resource to support NS6 projects (G13/New ISZ/New B&D&L, ISF series…) Leverage the key tools/processes to improve delivery quality with timely manner (KAF/iDFMEA/CPM/Design Review/VPI, …) Team & peoples development, SME/ESW Owner and Specialists by challenge assignments, tech-sharing and training (TWE/Rotation) Enhance analysis capability development (ALD) in some key areas, bearing, crankshaft, power cylinder, gear and iBrake. NVH analysis and experimental capability development for NS6 projects DVP&R consolidation and optimization by ALD and NUD focus, creatively apply ESWs to fit-for-market verification and validation (sufficient V&V with less resource and as earlier) Improve concept design quality by prioritizing quality resource (specialist involvement) Keep team be safe, safety tour regularly based (Weekly or Bi-weekly) Cummins Confidential
